Thank you for your interest in running the Athens Marathon 2026 for the Sierra Leone Grammar School Old Boys Association Foundation Trust (SLGSOBA). We are a charity registered in England and Wales (1146279) and Company No: 07806269, committed to continuing the legacy of world‑class education at SLGS, the oldest educational institution in West Africa.

The Athens Marathon is a truly historic race, following the legendary route from Marathon to the heart of Athens. By joining our team, you’ll not only take on an unforgettable challenge but also help drive meaningful change in education across Sierra Leone.

As a charity, we rely on your commitment to fundraising. Once offered a place, we will count on you to achieve an agreed fundraising target. In return, we’ll provide guidance and support every step of the way—from sponsorship ideas and match funding to organising fundraising events.
